The Forest County Potawatomi Community has purchased a 27-passenger bus from Hometown Trolley. With this bus, the Tribe will be able to provide public transit throughout the community and implement a 120-day “Transit Pilot Project” from July through October 2017.

For the pilot project, a fixed route is available Monday through Wednesday. This fixed route will contain an early morning work route and a continuous loop throughout the tribal communities and surrounding area. The route will allow community members access for employment, services, medical appointments, grocery shopping and events at the farm. The remainder of the week Thursday through Saturday the bus will provide transportation for other scheduled events.
